Schrader said he was touched to see members of the public attending the memorial, and that he remains thankful for the support that the RCMP has shown to his family through the years.

Denyse and Ron Mytopher said they attended the memorial for their son, Ronald, who is a Kamsack conservation officer, and to show their respect for other peace officers around the country. 

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of it,"Wholesale Monster energy hats he said. "Especially when something hits the media, you associate it, and think, 'That could be my daughter or my son.'" 

With two children working in law enforcement, Terry McGarry said he found the ceremony very moving, and acknowledged Cheap DC shoes hats that the idea of what can happen to peace officers on duty is never far from his mind.
